A classic African coffee grown by the Chagga Tribe on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. A single bean forms in the seed pod, giving the coffee bean it's unique round shape. Bright, fruity and full body, just as it should be. We stamp the back of each 100% compostable coffee bags with the roast date when it leaves the coffee roaster.
The Chaga are Bantu-speaking indigenous Africans and the third largest ethnic group in Tanzania. They traditionally live on the southern and eastern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru and near Moshi.
