With the new ban on the production of plastic bags in Canada now in effect, we are searching for ways to keep your coffee delivery safe from the elements. Even the biodegradable bags that we've been using are subject to this new law.
If you have a Limestone Organic Creamery Box at your home, we will place your coffee order inside the box from this point forward.
If you have an alternative place for us to leave your order, (Rubbermaid tote, mailbox, etc) please indicate in the "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELLER" section of your online shopping cart.
If you have a Recurring Order and have instructions for us, please make that change in your Subscription Online. If you are having difficulty with that, please send us an email to SALES@NORTHROAST.COM and we'll make the change for you.
We are hoping that there will emerge a compostable option for delivery bags, but in the meantime, a weatherproof tote (which most folks have) would seem to be the easiest option to place on your porch on the day of delivery.
Making our environment better for ourselves and our children involves a cost, convenience or money. Together we'll figure this all out.
